Submitting information here does not create an agency, broker, advisory, or insurance relationship.

• Homeowner experience and insurance challenge information

Why we collect it

We use this information to understand patterns in California homeowners insurance availability, affordability, and coverage challenges. If you opt in to be contacted, we may follow up with research-related questions or occasional updates about the California Fire Insurance Project.

If licensed insurance options are developed in the future, any communications about those options will be made only by properly licensed persons or entities.

How we use and protect information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not publish personally identifiable information without express permission. Research summaries use anonymized and aggregated information whenever possible.

We do not currently sell or refer your information to insurance agents, brokers, carriers, or lead buyers.

We retain submissions for research and analysis unless deletion is requested.

Research updates form

The optional research updates form collects email and ZIP code only, with your consent, for occasional research project updates. It is not for insurance quotes, applications, or coverage availability notifications.

Website analytics

We may use privacy-friendly analytics and Google Ads measurement tags to understand how visitors find the site and whether outreach efforts are working. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies and can collect browser and page-view information. They are not used to sell insurance or to publish survey responses.
